Head chef, Chef Tong started his chef career at Penang Malaysian Cuisine in New York City 15 years ago. As a cook, Chef Tong had prepared many of the most authentic Malaysian dishes with his careful selection of ethnic spices and freshest ingredients. Many of these dishes are Malaysian's everyday favorites. With his dedication to his job and his passion over Malaysian food, Chef Tong eventually moved up to be the head chef of Penang in Chicago.
At Peninsula, Chef Tong will be assisted by two other chefs who also have extensive experience in preparing Malaysian dishes.
