Washington Avenue has a new kid in town, The Crooked Pint Ale House has opened its doors in the former 501 Club spot. (501 Washington Avenue South, Minneapolis)
The nouveau urban pub is the work of the team behind St. Paul’s Twisted Fork, (hence the name "crooked" is perfectly fitting) Chef Keven Kvalsten had a hand in the menu, (offering breakfast, lunch and dinner) with eats such as chorizo corn dogs, bison meatloaf, and an Ale-braised pulled pork sandwich. The pub also hosts a generous selection of brews, wines and spirits.
Crooked Pint will also have live music every weekend featuring local, regional and national performers with a range of musical stylings. "On-The-House Band" Thursday nights start this week (September 22nd). They also host Free Sunday Movie Night, Sassy Lassy Trivia Night & Big Game Night. Is it a sports bar? Is it a band geek hangout? Is it a hidden foodie gem? Check out the Crooked Pint and let us know if it will be your added to your next pub crawl!
